This week’s topic is: Favourite Bromances
Description: Bromance = platonic relationship between two characters who identify as male.
Well, this was a rather hard one for me. It took me a while to narrow it all down to 5 books hahaha but I managed. 😊😜 Here are my top 5 favourite bromances:
1- The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater: Gansey, Adam Parish & Ronan Lynch
Their friendship and protectiveness toward each other was what made this book amazing. They have literally embraced the saying ‘one for all, and all for one’.
2- ACOMAF & ACOWAR by Sarah J. Maas
Rhysand, Cassian & Azriel
From the moment Cassian and Azreil were introduced in the book, you could see the epic proportions of the bromance between the three characters. The fact that Rhys gave up so much for Cassian and Az, and how protective they are of him is a sure sign of brotherly love.
3- Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
Harry & Ron
There are no words to describe the level of friendship and love between these two. But if you’ve read the books and/or watched the movies, I don’t need to explain – if you haven’t, have you been living under a rock??!!! 🤣🤣🤣
4- Oxford series by Lauren Layne
Alex Cassidy, Lincoln Mathis, Cole Sharp & Jake Malone
Well well… What can I say about these four guys… well first of all, they all work for the Oxford magazine, they are all sexy and fun and moody and broody at the same time. These guys are great friends and if one is in trouble, all of them put their heads together to help the other out.
5- The Host by Stephanie Meyer
Jamie & Jared
I know there are some of you that haven’t read this book yet so I’ll do my best to not give away anything important… Jamie is Melanie’s little brother and Jared is her boyfriend, when Melanie gets captured Jamie and Jared get very close to each other as if Jamie is Jared’s little brother and they do everything together.
Well, this is it for my Top 5 Favourite Bromances in books. Have you read any of these books? Do you have any favourite bromances? Share your ideas 💡
