Top 5 wednesday is a weekly challenge where you can pick your top 5 for the topic of the week. you can find more information about it on goodreads.
This weeks topic is: Books Featuring [paranormal creature of your choice]
Description: Here is the previously mentioned paranormal creature topic. This topic will revolve around one type of paranormal creature of your choice. So books featuring vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, demons, fae, zombies, etc.
I’m picking fae for this one. All good books have a fairy presence in it so why not share my favourite fae’s with you…
1-) A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
Sarah J. Introduced us to some epic fae high lords in this novel and it just keeps getting better and better from there on.
2-) Dead Until Dark (Sookie Stackhouse series) by Charlaine Harris
In this ever growing series (I think there’s up to 13 books so far) Charlaine Harris introduces us to some great paranormal characters, from telepaths to vampires to fairies to shape shifters. These series was my first introduction to paranormal Fantasy genre and I really enjoyed them.
3-) Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
In this book, we get introduced to a lot of forbidden old magic and the ancient fae queen, who’s been gone over centuries but she makes appearances to warn and guide Celaena through her journey.
4-) Tinkerbell from Peter Pan
This is a classic I can’t stop myself from mentioning. ‘I do believe in fairies, I do, I do!!’
5-) Fairy Godmother from Cinderella
Another epic classic story with a fairy in it. ‘Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo‘
I tried to mix all the good ones together, hope you all like this and if you have any books that’s you’ve read that mentions fae and/or fairies do let me know. 🙂
