First off, let me start by saying I recently read a blog post called Gift Ideas for your book loving mom on Mother’s Day by Jamie at The Perpetual Page-Turner and just loved it so much that I wanted to do something similar. Jamie was very generous to let me go with her idea and change it up a bit. Go take a peek at her post, I promise you’ll love it. 🙂
My love for books came from my mother. From a very young age, she’d either read to me or recommend books that she knows I would like. Books like ‘the little prince’ as a grew older turned into books like ‘the client’ or ‘the rainmaker’. Our favorite author to read together was John Grisham, she would finish a book of his and would give it to me so we could discuss what we thought of it together. Once we’d finish the book, we’d reward ourselves with watching the movie (if there’s one made for it). She’d always told me, reading will make you an intelligent person, you’ll grow your vocabulary and your imagination. We still love sharing this bond of books, only thing that’s changed is that, now I recommend the books and she reads what I think she’ll enjoy. Here’s a few different books that I know she’d enjoy and I hope so will you and yours. Please keep in mind that, the books on list are not necessarily all recent releases but just a few of my favorites. 🙂

Ps: There is only 2 books outs of this list that I haven’t currently read, however the reviews for both books are amazing. I hope y’all will enjoy these.
